At CrossFit Bermondsey, our Foundations program is a great starting point for anyone new to CrossFit. Through four carefully designed sessions, you’ll be introduced to the various styles of CrossFit classes, learning how to adapt the workouts to your abilities and feeling confident when you enter our regular classes.
Who Is the Foundations Program For?
The Foundations program at CrossFit Bermondsey is tailored for beginners or anyone seeking a guided transition into CrossFit. It’s built to show you how to scale workouts to fit your fitness level, while also giving you an introduction to different class formats like heavy lifting and intense conditioning. If you’re ready to join a supportive community and want a clear path to success in our regular classes, this program is for you.

Class Variety Exposure
You’ll experience different types of CrossFit classes, from strength and gymnastics-focused sessions to conditioning workouts. This variety ensures that you’re well-prepared for any class you attend after completing Foundations.

Scaling for Your Needs
We believe that everyone can do CrossFit, and our Foundations program emphasises how to tailor workouts to your individual needs. Whether it’s simplifying movements or modifying intensity, you’ll leave knowing how to adapt any workout to your level.

Step-by-Step Preparation
Our priority is making sure you feel comfortable in a small group setting (4 people max) and confident when joining a larger group class. Our CrossFit Foundations course gives you a clear understanding of what to expect, how to pace yourself, and how make the most of your CrossFit classes.

Continued Support
After completing Foundations, our coaches continue to provide guidance, helping you refine your technique and learn the methodology of CrossFit as you advance through to our larger classes.
